Great news: Even though they changed the location from Bear Mountain State Park, the event is still dog friendly!!!
There were so many puppies at the Oktoberfest. Despite it being a German Beer Festival, I saw only one German Shepherd.
Mom and Dad wanted to scout out the event so they could let their friends know it wasn't just "in the parking lot". Anthony Wayne Park is very pretty. Lots of trees, lots of picnic benches, lots of noise coming from a bunch of dudes wearing lederhosen.
They even had a puppy treat vendor. They must have known I was hungry, with all the awesome smells in the air. Mom got me pumpkin cranberry treats.
