Mom and Dad said they had a very special surprise for me today!

I had no idea what it might be! I was a little anxious; the last time someone said they had a surprise for me, I got fixed....

Mom and Dad packed a ton of stuff, filled the truck to the brim with towels, water bottles, snacks, treats, swimming trunks, leashes, beds, tents, blankets, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats....

Despite all of these clues, I still had no idea where I was going.

A few hours into my car ride, Mom and Dad told me that we were going to a beach! A beach that allowed puppies!

I was so exited that I barked my head off at the parking attendant. We rolled up to the Manasquan Dog Beach in Brielle, NJ.

Once we got to the beach, Mom and Dad hunted a spot out to set up all of our stuff.

Dad said we had to stay twice as long as it would take him to set up the cabana tent.

So, we were on track to stay at the beach for about six to eight hours.

The beach was AWESOME!

I got to play with a couple of puppies and some humans. The beach said you had to stay on your leash, but a few puppies decided they didn't need to listen to the rules.

Not me. I'm not a rebel. I follow the rules. I don't need any more court appearances. My parole officer has me on the path to recovery. I CAN'T GO BACK TO THAT CAGE!!!

Anywho...

For anyone that's put off by this sort of thing, beware. The Manasquan Dog Beach is an "All Nude Dog Beach". As in, all the dogs are nude.

Not a single dog had the decency to cover up or wear a towel.

Bunch of animals.....

I didn't really want to go swimming. I felt a little bloated after the car ride. Don't get me wrong, I was in the water chasing after my ball, but my heart wasn't totally into it.

The dog beach was littered with muscles, so I was able to snack on a couple pieces of raw fish (Dad almost lost his cookies).

All in all, I give the Manasquan Dog Beach 4.5 Bones out of a possible 5 Bones. It lost a half a bone because of the scary waves....
